ABOUT OUR BRANDS
Dutch design from now
Hollands Licht represents the design talent of which the Netherlands is rich.
On the one hand, the collection consists of classics by famous designers, whose names have been known to the public for a long time.
On the other hand, they are inspired by emerging talents with their opinions on light, materials and use.
Not only the lamp as an object, but also the applicability of the lamp in a room or an interior is central.
"I don't paint cows, but light," a Dutch painter once said. The play of light and shadow, of air and landscape, has been a source of inspiration for artists and designers over the centuries. The use of light and its effect play an important role in the Hollands Licht collection. The sober color palette is a tribute to Dutch painting of the golden age.
RoMi was born in a small attic somewhere.
Nowadays the people of RoMi - realistic and open minded realists - work on the oldest canal in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands.
Since 1993 they have been producing household items and lighting for your home,
with dedication and above all pleasure!
They find inspiration from the urban life of the city, but also nature offers them many ideas.
They love the simple but strong design in pure materials.
It's About RoMi
Patrick Hartog is a Dutch designer from Rotterdam. As a lighting and product designer, he strives for contemporary and elegant design that has a Dutch playfulness. Using natural materials, elegant colors and aesthetic forms, it creates a relaxing atmosphere or makes each room unique.
The lights are manufactured with attention to social issues. They collaborate with a local ceramic laboratory that employs people with difficulty in entering the labor market.
The family: that is our DNA

The strength of Pilat & Pilat is the timelessness of the brand.
Pilat & Pilat furniture is very contemporary with the honest tradition of woodworking.
In a special way, all the designs are recognizable as Pilat, the design is clear and simple, but the workmanship and the material are rich. Familiarity and domestic warmth are deeply rooted in the robust designs of cabinets, tables, chairs,
benches and accessories.
Pols potten is a leading international brand in the home and interior accessories sector, founded in Amsterdam in 1986. Subtle, innovative, unconventional and clearly rooted in the Dutch design tradition.
All products were born in the Pols potten studio, under the guidance of Jan Wolleswinkel.
They like to use the creativity of other Dutch designers and artisans from around the world. They find eachother during their journeys.
If there is a click and they understand mutual humor, then the most beautiful things are born! The study by Pols potten ensures consistency
and then comes to a kaleidoscopic collection, every season again.
The royal Porceleyne Fles is the only survivor of the approximately 32 ceramic factories that were located in Delft in the mid-seventeenth century.
The famous Delft pottery has a rich history, dating back to the early 1600s. The V.O.C. (Company of the Dutch East Indies) in the 17th century, along with the spices, also took the decorated blue on white porcelain from China. This porcelain quickly became very popular among the well-to-do of that time, such as European royal houses.
Dutch ceramics began with the imitation of this blue porcelain decorated on white. This was the beginning of the Delft Blue industry, which is now known worldwide as a purely Dutch product.
Royal Delft uses two secular techniques to create Delft Blue.
The origins and strength of Royal Delft are the high quality Delft Blue ceramics, hand-painted or screen-printed.
The items in these collections are handmade, the decoration is applied to the articles through a transfer, after which they are joined to the enamel layer during cooking.
The Vij5 design brand is synonymous to a sparkling personal style and high quality standards.
The founders Arjan van Raadshooven and Anieke Branderhorst produces interior products characterized by simplicity and the use of existing elements.
The collection represents a wide variety of products and styles, but at the same time forms an interesting uniformity. Correct proportions and a balanced composition; the use of pure and honest materials; clear lines and refined details are what the designs have in common.
Vij5 also deliberately seeks collaboration with other young designers to expand the collection.
